HASAMI PORCELAIN

Hasami, Nagasaki is one of the foremost pottery districts in Japan with almost 400 years history of crafting its porcelain-ware. HASAMI PORCELAIN was designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto of Tortoise in Venice, CA whose vision was to integrate modern tableware design with the organic quality produced by traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques. Each piece of HASAMI PORCELAIN masters simplicity, individuality, tactility, multi-functionality and practicality in its design. Many of the products are versatile in function with the soft and comfortable texture and curved lines that represent the essence of modern Japanese aesthetic.​
